Milo Meldrum is a mother, artist, alchemist and owner of Materialised, where she carves stone, metalsmiths, distills, forages and creates a range of healing herbal products + Jewellery.
The foundation of Milo’s jewellery creations are rooted in giving space to the whakapapa of foraged & raw materials to speak. With a passion for the old ways she incorporates folk traditions such as ancient stone setting & fish skin leathering into her creations with contemporary associations.

Using jewellery as a language to communicate her relation to the Sea & Land. The stones in her jewellery are foraged from stones from around Aotearoa. Milo does not support unethical mining of “precious stones” which go through many hands as well as child and slave labour. Her pieces encourage an intentional and contemplative approach to the environment & ourselves. Milo completed her degree in Contemporary Jewellery at Te Auaha, graduating in 2020.

Milo only uses seasonal, sustainable & ethically informed foraged plant life force in her healing herbal remedies, found from the deep woods or friends land away from council spraying & pollution. There is much care and intention that goes into each blend, infusion & distillate that has been uplifted with loving consent & prayer. Milo is currently studying under Kami McBride, an American Herbalist to create maximum potency shelf stable oils for the body, hair, face & spirit.
